Request one online and we post it first class. Inside: a padded mailer, numbered blade sleeves, card scissor wraps, an order slip and a prepaid tracked label. Pop your tools in and drop it at any Post Office.

Tools are sharpened and posted back within 48 working hours of arriving. Most customers have them back 4–5 working days after posting. Priority 24-hour turnaround is £6 per order.

Yes. Wrap each blade and scissor separately, use a padded envelope or small box, include your name, phone and return address, and post it tracked.

Yes, while they're in the workshop and on the way back to you. For high-value scissors we recommend Special Delivery when you post them in, and we return them the same way.

Clipper blades £7, grooming scissors £8, thinners £9, hair scissors £12, thinning hair scissors £14 and convex Japanese scissors £16. Blades and grooming scissors are 6 for £35, 12 for £65 or 20 for £100.

Return postage is free on any bundle or any order over £35. Smaller orders pay £4.95 for a tracked return. The pack to send your tools in is always free.

After your tools arrive and we've checked them in. You get a link to pay by card or Apple Pay. Trade accounts can pay monthly on invoice.

If a blade is cracked, missing teeth or too worn, we tell you, return it and don't charge for it.

No. We only sharpen. We don't stock or sell tools, so our advice on whether to sharpen or replace is never a sales pitch.

Busy groomers: blades every 6–10 weeks, scissors every 3–4 months. Barbers: blades every 8–12 weeks, scissors every 3–6 months. Try the due-date checker for your own estimate.

We focus on cutting edges. If your clipper motor or drive lever is worn, we'll tell you and point you to a repair specialist.

Yes. We run weekly collection rounds across all ten boroughs. Collection and drop-off are free on 6 or more items, otherwise £5.
